*** Unless otherwise noted, all verses are from the Authorized King James Version of the Bible. This is an important thing to understand as ALL other versions of the Bible have been cut apart, edited, erased, or otherwise falsified. This is historic and present-day fact as well as prophetically accurate. So, again, all verses provided are from the King James Version (KJV) ***

Before you start reading this, please go into prayer. Please, take a moment and pray for the Lord to take away your worldly mindset and any preconceived notion of what truth “should” be. Ask Him to bestow upon you His perfect spiritual mindset and His perfect understanding. Ask Him to bless you with the removal of any and all preconceived notions, opinions, and beliefs you may have about yourself and His Word. Pray that He would give you the mind and heart to go into His Word with all clarity of mind and all readiness of heart. Request that He would open your mind and heart to His perfect will and that you would be given His strength to take His knowledge and wisdom and apply it to your life. I want you to know that I am praying for you always and I know that if you go into any study of His Word ready to learn anything He has to say, you will succeed.

Have you ever asked yourself why we celebrate holidays? Have you ever wondered why Easter is represented by a Bunny and eggs? Have you ever stopped to think what the tree, ornaments, Yule log, and other such things have to do with the supposed day of Christ’s birth? Have you ever taken a moment to question the origins of Halloween and why we celebrate it? Or, what about birthdays? Have any of us really stopped to investigate why we hold the day of our birth in such high regard? What is the history of these holidays and why do we esteem them so highly? More importantly, however, have any of us truly stopped to see what the infallible Word of God has to say about the celebration of man’s traditions and whether or not He condones their celebration?

Starting about half way into this writeup is a breakdown on the Halloween celebration if you would like to skip ahead to that, but I implore you to read through the entirety of what’s written here in order to fully understand what the Lord says about holiday celebrations and what He says about joining with those who celebrate holidays. As for the other holidays mentioned in the previous paragraph, I have full writeups on each one and have the relevant Scriptures to back up each of my claims. All you have to do is contact me and I will provide you with anything and everything you need.

Briefly, Christmas has absolutely nothing to do with the birth of our Savior. He was born sometime in the Autumn, not in the winter. There is no evidence to suggest He was born on December 25th, but you know who was? Many, MANY various Pagan gods. Easter is claimed to be a celebration of Christ’s resurrection, but is associated with a bunny and eggs because both of these symbols are representative of Pagan fertility/goddess worship. The Christmas tree is directly linked to the Babylonian king Nimrod (Tower of Babel) and his son Tammuz. In fact, the 40 days of Lent and its Pagan origins are mentioned directly in the Bible! In short, the entire reason we celebrate these holidays today is because in the early days of the Roman Catholic Vatican, the need to fill pews (and coffers) drove them to incorporate Pagan traditions in order to attract those Pagans into the church. Not unlike any other advertising campaign we see today which is used to attract the greatest number of customers possible by appealing to the various sensibilities of the public. All this is a matter of historical record and cannot be refuted. So, all this being said, what does God have to say about the celebration of man’s traditions?

Deuteronomy 6:14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;”

I really like this verse because we are lovingly warned that everyone around us will be following false gods in their worship and upholding of Satanic holiday’s and that we should not follow after them. This is one of the places where the Word of God warns us not to go after the traditions or customs of other nations.

Deuteronomy 12:29-32 “When the Lord thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land; 30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods: even so will I do likewise. 31 Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. 32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

I like this part, too. I especially like that God uses the word “snared” to get us to understand that following the customs of false gods (Satan) is exactly like being caught in a trap made for death. Verse 32 is particularly important because SO many well-meaning Christians think that they can celebrate Christmas or Easter or birthday’s and still glorify God in the process. God tells us EXACTLY how to worship Him. We simply cannot “add thereto, nor diminish from” His commands (Deuteronomy 12:32 “What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.”). And, here, He makes it crystal clear that His people CANNOT revel in the same traditions of those who hate Him.

Deuteronomy 18:9-14 “When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. 13 Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God. 14 For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.”

Just another example of how God views the traditions of the people who have strayed far from Him.

Leviticus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.”

This is why like-minded people tend to stick together. When family and friends and acquaintances gather together in celebration of man’s traditions, it is because of the “familiar spirits” spoken about here in Leviticus. These “familiar spirits” are nothing more than demons who move us to revel in our sins and center the revelry around holidays which they know are against the will of God.

Exodus 23:2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:”

Ever notice that it is always the majority who think they are correct? We know that the true followers of God will always be (and have always been) very small in number. We are promised this by our loving Lord. Therefore, it is safe to say that wherever the “multitude” is walking, we must walk in the other direction. And in the case of celebrating man’s traditions, every single person in the world (except God’s Remnant people) celebrate a particular holiday by justifying the celebration with the deception that it is “just being around family in order to love each other” or by saying “it’s the love we are celebrating, not the holiday”. Well, why not “love” our families throughout the entire year? Why does our “love” have to only be shown on Pagan festival days?

Mark 2:21-22 No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse. 22 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.”

Jesus is talking about combining old with new here. He is talking about combining Pagan tradition with Christianity. He makes it abundantly clear that to do so will end in sorrow. In fact, it was the combining of Christianity with Paganism which created the Roman Catholic Church. It is easy to see that combining the old with the new, or, Satanic celebrations with Christian Truth will ALWAYS end in death.

*** If you would like to know more about how the Roman Catholic Vatican plays into all this, please contact me and I will be happy to provide you with any and all information ***

1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.”

As we walk through this world we will be the only Bible other people will ever read. Therefore, in our words and ACTIONS we must glorify God in His Truth. Since celebrating a holiday very much counts as an “appearance of evil” to those who may want the truth of God’s Word, we’ve already led them astray.

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

We are told by God to only remain in the presence of like-minded, God fearing, Bible believing Christians.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

We cannot walk with God and His enemy at the same time. We have to be around like-minded believers for the sake of our own relationship with Christ. God has no fellowship with unrighteousness. In His light, darkness cannot exist. Christ has no fellowship with Satan. God calls us to “be ye separate” from the works of darkness. In this case, we must be separate from the Satanic celebration of holidays.

1 John 2:3-6 “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”

1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”

To love the world is the same thing as loving Satan. This is why we are called to be separate from the world.

1 John 3:18 “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”

Again, we may be the only Bible which people ever read in their entire lives. Since the Bible neither sanctifies nor condones traditions of men, it is not for the Christian to take part in anything of the sort. In our ACTIONS, we must glorify God and give Him His due praise.

1 John 4:5-6 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.”

This is an unfortunate truth. Prophecy declares that there are always going to be those who are completely shut off from hearing the truth of God’s Word. They only hear what they want to hear and will fervently deny the blatant truth so lovingly spoken to us in the infallible Word of God. One gift we receive by wholeheartedly chasing God is discernment. We are able to distinguish between truth and lies.

Romans 1:25,32 “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

I love it when I come to these verses when talking about Christmas. They apply to birthday celebrations and all other celebrations of man as well. Doesn’t verse 25 remind you of the mindset of those who hold Christmas close to their heart? Doesn’t the latter part of verse 25 sound EXACTLY like what a tradition of man is all about? We lift up the family/loved ones over and above their place as fellow human beings and into a place of exaltation, thereby placing them into a position above ourselves. This is PRECISELY what worship is!!! The ONLY person we should EVER lift above ourselves is our Creator Jesus Christ.

Moreover, verse 32 confirms the mindset of holiday celebrations. Not only do most people already know that these celebrations are wrong in their heart, but they revel in the celebrations. Even if they do not know of the evil associated with holiday celebrations, the mindset is the same: they not only celebrate, but take pleasure in these celebrations.

The most common excuses for partaking in these rituals/traditions is that they provide a sense of community, fellowship, and family. Or that the celebrant’s feelings will get hurt. These are very common attacks by the enemy which serve to anchor us into participating in his celebrations because he knows these things offend God.

2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

For those who exalt themselves over the knowledge of God with their own beliefs/knowledge earn a casting down from grace. To choose to celebrate holidays, despite the fact that God’s Word clearly condemns such things, is to hold our own beliefs higher than the knowledge of God. This belief is in direct violation of Commandment number one which states, (Exodus 20:3 “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”) When we choose to say that our beliefs are above the commands of God, we place ourselves as a god above Him.

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

Every tradition of man is vain and deceitful and are in direct opposition to Christ. The traditions of man are connected to this world and, therefore, Satan.

John 15:18-19 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”

John 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.”

The world loves the world. The world hates Christians because we are not part of the world. Every Christian knows that this world is not our home. We are all striving toward our actual home in Heaven. Our true home is in Heaven by the side of the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Spirit. We can rest safely in the fact that those opposed to us are not hateful toward us, but toward Christ Himself.

Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

1 Peter 4:4 “Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:”

The Lord says that we are blessed when people hate us for His sake. To stand with Christ has always meant to be hated by the world, but I would rather stand for God and be judged by the world than stand with the world and be judged by God. We are the non-conformists and as such, the world casts us out. They think we are the strange ones for following the ways of God instead of joining them in “what everyone else is doing” … such as celebration of holidays.

James 4:4 “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

I believe this verse to be self-explanatory. Choosing the world (Satan) makes us ENEMIES of God. That’s a scary thought.

Matthew 11:6 “And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.”

Despite what the enemy would have us believe, what we feel in our hearts and think in our minds and say with our lips, we can and do offend God with our actions. There are too many Christians who think that celebrating holidays is okay because they believe in Christ. No matter how we try to justify our actions by declaring we love Christ, He takes SERIOUS offense when those who call themselves Christians participate in Pagan/Satanic rituals.

Simply believing in Christ isn’t enough. I mean, if belief was enough, then Satan would go to Heaven. He has no problem believing in Him. It wasn’t his belief which got him thrown out of Heaven … it was disobedience! It wasn’t belief which got Adam and Eve thrown out of the Garden … it was disobedience!

Colossians 3:1-3 “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”

Seek the things which are eternal in God’s Kingdom, not the things of the earth which are set to burn to ash.

Mark 7:9-13 “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. 10 For Moses said, Honour they father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: 11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightiest be profited by me; he shall be free. 12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; 13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.”

Matt 15:3-9 “But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. 5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightiest be profited by me; 6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. 7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you saying, 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”

To hold to the traditions of man is to “reject the commandment of God”.

Titus 1:13-16 “This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; 14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. 15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. 16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”

Here, we are told that fables and traditions of man are polar opposites of truth and only serve to defile our conscience.

We are also directly told that those who hold to man’s traditions “profess that they know God; BUT IN WORKS THEY DENY HIM,”.

2 Thessalonians 3:6 “Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.”

Again, we are called to be separate from those who work abomination in the sight of the Lord. This does not mean to separate from those who are simply struggling to follow God. This is referring to those who outright reject the truth.

2 Timothy 4:2-4 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

We cannot hesitate when it comes to the preaching of God’s Truth! We do not know if there will be a future for the person God has set before us. Therefore, we MUST tell them His Loving Truth IN THAT VERY MOMENT! The consequence of refusal to adhere to the commandments of the Lord are evident in the mindsets and actions of people today. Just look around! They do “not endure sound doctrine”. Instead, they actively seek out preachers who will tell them exactly what they want to hear because they have “itching ears”. They “turn away their ears from the truth” because they would prefer to believe that it’s okay to celebrate holidays.

Romans 12:1-2 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

“be not conformed to this world” … our “reasonable service” is to live our lives as a living sacrifice for Jesus Christ. And as this verse tells us, God will transform our minds and our hearts if we come to Him in honesty and truth in order to make us into that which is “good, and acceptable, and perfect” in His glorious sight. He wants us to become separate from the world and become as He is.

Deuteronomy 14:2 “For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.”

The Lord chose us “to be a peculiar people”. We are “peculiar” because while the rest of the world, including all the “Christians”, choose to celebrate holidays, we don’t. We are actually considered the weird ones because we choose to follow God’s Truth.

Matthew 5:14-16 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Once more, our actions will or will not influence others to “glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Our actions on their own afford us the opportunity to plant the Lord’s seeds of truth into all the hearts that are witnessing our stand. When we combine our actions with the spoken Word of God flowing through us by His Spirit, a powerful message is displayed to the world. At the same time, our stand for the Lord pleases Him and glorifies Him in His truth. For all eyes that witness us standing firm in the strength of God, we show them the power of our God.

The Evils of Halloween

Were you aware that Israel of old did as the churches of today do concerning Halloween? Halloween is a day the Pagan holds dear. Scripture states plainly that Israel too joined themselves with the Pagan feasts on the border of Canaan. Isaiah saw this as an abomination unto God, for the prophet states plainly that

Isaiah 8:19 “And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?”

This same belief in communion with the dead formed the cornerstone of heathen idolatry. The gods of the heathen were believed to be the deified spirits of departed heroes. Thus the religion of the heathen was a worship of the dead. This is evident from the Scriptures. In the account of the sin of Israel at Bethpeor, it is stated:

Numbers 25:1-3 “And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods. And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.”

The psalmist tells us to what kind of gods these sacrifices were offered. Speaking of the same apostasy of the Israelites, he says,

Psalm 106:28 “They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.”

That is, sacrifices that had been offered to the dead.

“The deification of the dead has held a prominent place in nearly every system of heathenism, as has also the supposed communion with the dead. The gods were believed to communicate their will to men, and also, when consulted, to give them counsel. Of this character were the famous oracles of Greece and Rome. The belief in communion with the dead is still held, even in professedly Christian lands…” -Patriarchs and Prophets p 684

This is no different than the Pagan feast of Halloween. Does not Halloween honor the dead? And were you also aware that the Lisbon Earthquake on November 1, 1755 found many ready for death in their Roman Catholic churches worshipping the dead on “all saints day”, the day after Halloween? I wonder how many in those churches were “praying for the dead” when they died that day?

“The Lisbon Earthquake, which occurred on November 1, 1755, is the most notable earthquake in history.” -Nelson’s New Loose-leaf Encyclopedia (Book Productions Industries Inc.), art. “Earthquake.”

Says Sir Charles Lyell, “A violent shock threw down the greater part of the city. In the course of about six minutes, 60,000 persons perished. The sea first retired and laid the bar dry; it then rolled in, rising 50 feet or more above its ordinary level … The area over which this convulsion extended is very remarkable.” -Principles of Geology (11th ed., 1872), vol. 2, pp. 147, 148.

Encyclopedia Britannica (1945) estimates the deaths at a lower figure but says the effects of the quake were felt from Scotland to Asia Minor and the distinctive feature of the Lisbon Earthquake was the agitation of inland lakes and streams far beyond the disturbed area. For instance, Italy, Switzerland, Great Britain, Sweden, and Norway felt the effects.

Halloween – What is it to us?

1 Corinthians 10:20-21 “But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.”

With the loving approval of their parents, children dress up in weird costumes and play pranks on Halloween night — little realizing that for over a thousand years this one evening in the year has been specially dedicated by spirit mediums and witches to the worship of Satan.

Halloween has nothing to do with Christianity. It is a festival which no one — child or adult — should have anything to do with. We need to better understand the origins of Halloween and its dangers.

October 31st was celebrated by the Druids with many human sacrifices and a festival honoring their sun god and Samhain, the lord of the dead. (Both are really Satan) They believed that the sinful souls of those who died during the year were in a place of torment, and would be released only if Samhain was pleased with their sacrifices.

Irish records tell of the fascination the Catholic monks had with the powerful Druids, and Druids soon became important members of their monasteries. Pope Gregory the Great decided to bring the Druids’ holiday into the church.

Pope Gregory III moved the church festival of October 31st to November 1st and called it All Hallows or All Saints’ Day. Pope Gregory IV decreed that the day was to be kept by the church. The term Halloween comes from All Hallows Eve.

The founding fathers of America refused to permit the holiday; because they knew it was a pagan holiday. Halloween was not widely celebrated in the U.S. until about 1900. In the 1840’s there was a terrible potato famine in Ireland which sent thousands of Catholic Irish to America. They brought Halloween with them.

The modern custom of going from door to door asking for candy goes back to the time of the Druids. They believed that sinful, lost souls were released upon the earth by Samhain for one night on October 31st while they awaited their judgment. They were thought to come to the houses of the living. People greatly feared these spirits and thought that the spirits would harm and even kill them if the sacrifices they gave did not appease Samhain. They carved demonic faces into pumpkins or large turnips, placing a candle in them to keep the evil spirits away from their homes.

Yet such teachings did not help the people. Throughout Europe, on this one night of the year, it soon seemed as if all the devils came out! Indeed, that was the hidden meaning of Halloween, and the wild excitement and orgies of the people on that night seemed to fulfill it. We are seeing more and more attention paid to this holiday every year. Why? Because people are moving further away from God and His Holy Spirit is being withdrawn from the earth. They fool themselves into thinking they can be saved by Jesus and yet celebrate with the devil! We either are 100% the Lord’s, or we aren’t His at all.

The Druids believed that on Halloween, ghosts, spirits, fairies, witches, and elves came out to harm people. These evil creatures must be placated with offerings of food. The Celts would go with their children to one another’s house to gather food for the devil gods. This is the most dangerous “holiday” in the year. For long ages, Halloween has been a night especially dedicated to satanic agencies.

Every October 31st, we see the clearest evidence of that fact. Vandalism on a major scale now plagues our cities on that night. A few years ago, Detroit alone experienced three days of riots, arson, and mass destruction. For three days children and adults seemed possessed, and the city seemed out of control.

Should we today celebrate this pagan night, which every witch, clairvoyant, wizard, and spirit medium will tell you is the outstanding occult night in the year? You may be saying, “It’s all fun and games! I do not worship the devil and I see nothing wrong with it.”

Well, don’t forget that it is still “Satan’s Holiday.” Even if you are not ‘serious’ about it, Satan is! And He plays for keeps. If we take part in something that is Satan’s, the holy angels cannot protect us, and he can take over our lives. If we take part in a Satanic holiday, we ARE WORSHIPPING SATAN whether we think so or not!!

Few people realize how very dangerous it is to dabble in spiritualism. It may seem like innocent fun, but is it? Let’s look at what God’s Word says about it:

Deuteronomy 18:9-12 “When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.”

The widespread problem of harmful substances such as razor blades, drugs, poisons, needles, etc. being placed in the Halloween treats is no accident. Testimonies of several ex-Satanists show that children killed and injured by the “treats” are sacrifices to Satan (or Samhain). Satanists throughout the world continue to perform human sacrifices on Halloween. Also, many pets are tortured and killed, it is too horrible to even write about!

Is this something you want to participate in?

I am going to be honest with you about this. If you really have given your heart to Jesus and want to be in Heaven with Him and the holy angels, how can you still want and enjoy the things of the devil, which represent death and destruction? Stop and look at the kinds of things done on Halloween, it all glorifies death and ugliness. Satan is the source of these things. Think of some of the horrible masks used on this night – would you want to really look like that? Just follow Satan and you will end up like that. Do you really want to be dead? Death and misery are all Satan will ever bring to his followers.

Jesus represents Life and beauty, goodness and happiness. Satan only brings to us death, fear, pain and misery. Is it really fun to be scared? No, the Bible says

1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”

Dear readers, if Halloween still has any influence in your life, pray for forgiveness and ask Jesus to help you to see it as He sees it. The true Christian will hate everything to do with this evil holiday!

“When a man who is honestly mistaken hears the truth, he will either quit being mistaken or cease to be honest!”

Some will actually seek civil FORCE to revel in sin!

Church’s anti-Halloween flier upsets family.

Files police complaint: ‘I have every right to decorate my home’

An Indiana family upset by an anti-Halloween church flier filed a complaint with police.

Dalene Gully of Ellettsville told Indianapolis television station WRTV-TV she was offended by the flier placed outside her home by the House of Prayer Church of Bloomington.

“I started reading it, and I was very, very upset by it. I found it very accusatory and very threatening,” Gully said.

The church’s pastor, Larry Mitchell, said the church did not intend to upset the family but sought to warn people that Halloween is not harmless fun.

“Halloween is not fantasy,” Mitchell told WRTV. “We’re training up our children, and obviously this lady was trained up in this. Halloween seems like it is taking just as much prominence as Christmas.”

The family filed a complaint with the Ellettsville Police Department, but Mitchell said he would have preferred they come to him first.

Gully said the incident prompted them to install an alarm system.

“This is my home, and I like Halloween,” she said. “If I want to decorate my home, I have every right to decorate my home.”

The Bible and Halloween

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.”

A Celebration of Evil

Halloween is a religious day, but it is not Christian. Tom Sanguinet, a former high priest in Wicca has said: “The modern holiday that we call Halloween has its origins in the full moon closest to November 1, the witches’ new year. It is a time when the spirits (demons) are supposed to be at their peak power and revisiting planet earth … Halloween is purely and absolutely evil, and there is nothing we ever have, or will do, that would make it acceptable to the Lord Jesus.”

Day of Death

Halloween has strong roots in paganism and witchcraft. It began as the Druid festival of Samhain. The Celts considered November 1st the day of death, because, in the Northern hemisphere, this was the beginning of winter, the leaves were falling, it was getting darker earlier, and temperatures were dropping. They believed that their sun god was losing strength and Samhain, the lord of death, was overpowering the sun god. The druids also taught that on October 31st, on the eve of the feast, Samhain assembled the spirits of all who had died during the previous year to return to their former home to visit the living.

Human and Animal Sacrifices

On Halloween, for thousands of years, druid priests have conducted diabolical worship ceremonies in which cats, horses, sheep, oxen, human beings and other offerings were rounded up, stuffed into wicca cages and burned to death. These human and animal sacrifices were apparently required to appease Samhain and keep the spirits from harming them.

Trick or Treat

To obtain these sacrifices, druid priests would go from house to house asking for fatted calves, black sheep and human beings. Those who gave were promised prosperity, and those who refused to give were threatened and cursed. This is the origin of “trick or treat.”

Jack-O-Lantern

The Jack-O-Lantern has its origin in the candle-lit pumpkin or skull, which served as a signal to mark those farms and homes that supported the druids’ religion, and thus were seeking the “treat” when the terror of Halloween began. The World Book Encyclopedia says: “The apparently harmless lighted pumpkin face of the Jack-O-Lantern is an ancient symbol of a damned soul.”

Dance of Death

While people and animals were screaming in agony, being burnt to death, the druids and their followers would dress in costumes made of animal skins and heads. They would dance, chant and jump through the flames in the hope of warding off evil spirits.

House of Horrors

One of the popular heroes of Halloween, Count Dracula, was also a real person. Dracula lived from 1431 to 1476. During his six-year reign, Count Dracula massacred over 100,000 men, women and children in the most hideous ways. He devised a plan to rid his country of the burden of beggars, the handicapped, the sick and the aged by inviting them to a feast at one of his palaces. He fed them well and got them drunk. Then he asked them: “Do you want to be without cares, lacking nothing in the world?” When his guests yelled: “Yes!” Dracula ordered the palace boarded up and set on fire. No one escaped this original “house of horror.”

The Word of God

Deuteronomy 18:9-14 “When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.”

Ezekiel 44:23 “And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.”

Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Matthew 18: 6-7 “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!”

Romans 12:9 “Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.”

Romans 13:12 “The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.”

1 Corinthians 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.”

2 Corinthians 6:14-17 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,”

Ephesians 5:11 “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

1 Timothy 4:1-2 “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;”

James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

James 1:27 “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”

3 John 11 “Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.”

Participating in Paganism

Instead of participating in paganism, walking with Wicca, being in harmony with Halloween, having our children celebrate cruelty, and dabbling in a day of death, we should focus our family and congregation on celebrating Reformation Day this 31 October.

Reformation Day Vs Halloween

It was on 31 October 1517, that Dr. Martin Luther nailed the 95 Theses on the door of the Slosskirche (castle church) in Wittenberg, Germany. His bold challenge against the unBiblical practices of the medieval Roman papacy inspired the Protestant Reformation. All Bible believing churches should celebrate the greatest revival of Faith and freedom ever. The Reformation was one the most important turning points in world history. The energies that were released by the rediscovery of the Bible in the common tongue led to the most extraordinary spiritual Revival in history. The Reformation freed the Christians of Northern Europe from the decadence of Renaissance paganism and led to the greatest freedoms and scientific discoveries in history.

Every Bible believing Christian should celebrate the Reformation. No Christian should have part in celebrating the occultic Halloween.

We are in a spiritual world war. Cruelty to animals, vandalism and even murders occur with far greater frequency during Halloween. Every Halloween many thousands of animals, and even people, are sacrificed in satanic rituals worldwide, while millions of other people, including well-meaning Christians, participate in Halloween celebrations. Halloween is a prime recruiting time for witches and Satanists.  Many people have testified that they were introduced to the occult at a Halloween party. Halloween is very religious, but it is not Christian.

Romans 12:21 “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Choose Life

This October 31st, take a stand against Halloween by mobilizing your family and congregation to celebrate the Reformation, and to engage in spiritual warfare, earnest prayer, praying the Psalms, and sharing the Gospel with our friends and neighbors, particularly those who may be unthinkingly participating in this occultic celebration of divination, necromancy, human sacrifice and cruelty to animals.

Ephesians 6:10-18 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”

Final Thoughts

Matthew 6:24 “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

It’s one way or the other, no gray areas. We either serve God or Satan. However unsettling this truth may be, it is nonetheless still true. The sooner we understand this fact, the sooner we will be strengthened by the Almighty to stand firm in that which He has declared to be true and shun those things which He has declared to be lies. Satan only wants you to fail and he will use ANY lie he can think of to get you to fall. However, our Savior wants you to have life … and so do I. God is faithful and will carry you through all trials of life. You only need to trust Him to carry you through.

If has been anything said here which brings up ANY questions within you, PLEASE do not let them fester within you! Please, send me an email or call me or text me!!! I am here to help guide. Do NOT allow the enemy who hates you to convince you that you are not worth the time or effort to help! I’m telling you right now … YOU ARE WELL WORTH THE EFFORT AND IT IS MY PLEASURE TO ASSIST IN YOUR UNDERSTANDING!

All that has been included in this writeup has the tendency to move people toward anger, hostility, and frustration. Regardless of the way people feel, the Word of God remains the only real Truth in all the universe. I would like to conclude this writeup with one final piece of Scripture:

Galatians 4:16 “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?”
